Alerts Online Limited was founded in 2016 with a clear objective: to create a single mobile application that unifies every aspect of autonomous home management. Rather than forcing homeowners to switch between a dozen different manufacturer apps, we set out to build one cohesive platform where energy data, security feeds, climate controls, and expense analytics coexist seamlessly.

Headquartered at 34 Blythwood Drive in Frimley, Camberley, England, our engineering and product teams work with a deep focus on the Canadian residential market. Canada offers a unique environment for smart home technology, with extreme seasonal temperature swings, varied utility infrastructure across provinces, and a growing population of tech-forward homeowners eager to adopt connected devices.

Canada presents unique challenges for home automation. Winters in Alberta can drop below -30 degrees Celsius, while summers in southern Ontario regularly exceed 35 degrees. Utility rates vary dramatically between provinces, and many rural homes operate on entirely different energy infrastructure than urban apartments.

Our application accounts for all of these variables. Climate schedules adapt to extreme temperature ranges, energy dashboards display province-specific rate structures, and our notification system prioritizes alerts relevant to the current season and region. A burst pipe warning carries different urgency in Winnipeg in January than in Vancouver in July.
